What is the Monterey Bay Sea Otters Dive Club?

The MONTEREY BAY SEA OTTERS

  • Promote diving for education and pleasure, under observation of the highest safety standards.
  • Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information, education, and training.
  • Strongly encourage continuing education, environmental conservation, good sportsmanship, and cooperation with all other users of the marine environment.
  • Provide a network of dive buddies who believe in the ideals of this club.

For these purposes we:

Meet once a month in a social and educational atmosphere and organize two club dives per month.

Membership is $25.00 for an individual or $35.00 for a family or business

What Occurs: Each month we have a guest speaker who enlightens us about some aspect of diving, marine conservation, or other issues related to our enjoyment of the ocean environment. In addition to the speaker we talk about recent diving events, scheduled club dives, upcoming events and trips. It is also a good place to meet other divers and trade big fish and lobster stories.
